I thought he didn't really ride, that was just a farce for the movie? I remember I was really disappointed when I found out the infamous Purple Rain/Graffiti Bridge bike was an AUTOMATIC!! | |

When he was in Sydney in 92 there were lots of rumors of ppl seeing him riding on his motorbike and I've heard similar rumors from elsewhere but it doesn't prove either way.
