Yeah, she wrote some lyrics and he finished it off. I think 'Sex On Legs' was written solely by Prince but intended for her.

I don't have any specific tracks I most wanna hear...
Just anything I haven't heard already.

I'm also intrigued by alternate and early versions of tracks too.
Who wouldn't curious to hear the original 1982 version of Raspberry Beret
or Strange Relationship? Or all the unreleased extended and remixed versions
of tracks like The Ballad of Dorothy Parker or Lovesexy etc?

Didn't Don Batts talk about an early version of "Baby I'm A Star" that wasn't so "over done" as the one we know now on the PR album? That would be interesting to hear as well as the ones you listed.

I remember it being mentioned (it might even have been Eric Leeds). However,
I still prefer the released version. The early version is very piano driven and
somewhat sparse sounding by comparison. Though it does still sound very
similar. Personally, I think the track benefited from the 'full band' sound of the
released version. It gave it that celebratory jam feel that fitted with the finale
of the movie and later 'finale' songs like It's Gonna Be A Beautiful Night.

Yeah, this is the type of stuff that Prince could release to his hard core fans, if he only had a website that he could post songs like this wink

Yeah, the early version of Raspberry Beret would be killer.
Also, I remember with Parade and ATWIAD all the awesome extended versions, How bout that longer version of Black Sweat, or at the end of Guitar, right when Prince really starts wailing on the guitar, then the song fades? I'd kill for some longer versions. Once again, all he needs to do is launch some time of online presence so he has a forum to release things like that to his fans lol

It's Gonna Be A Beautiful Night is a 'Flesh' grove
You Gotta Shake Something is a circulating boot

SO basically it's the Revolution playing NPG style music?

Thread title question is tough to answer, the only thing you can go for is song title, which really doesn't say THAT much. (e.g: ripopgodazippa is a fantastic sounding title but not so much a fantastic song). SO, going by songs already known, I say Like a Prayer, if that version actually exists....

Close second : Yo Mister

Wally would be on that list too.

Wednesday, from Purple Rain, as well.

I think we all want to hear Wally, especially after Susan Rogers' comments. Too bad it doesn't exist anymore.

There's a track from Intimate Moments titled "Let Me Tell U What I Might Do" which is a piano demo for Wednesday - I'd like to hear a proper studio version tho.

I wonder if P ever recorded his "own" version of Like a Prayer... but you can hear his drum programming, guitar, synths, etc all over the Like a Prayer 12" maxisingle - one of the versions includes a killer guitar solo at the end of it. There was a long thread about this @ housequake, which I wish I could find an archive of. Prince is ALL OVER that 12", uncredited.
Keep your headphones on.

From what I understand, he re-recorded it after erasing the first "emo" multi-tracks. Right?

As for 'The Divine' - I don't believe Prince's self-hype for a second!
