Prince on vh1 classic!

For those of you who can catch it "Prince: Party at Paisley Park" will air tonight (7/1) on Vh1 classic at 7pm. Here's your chance to record it in good quality!

It's the same as Prince of Paisely Park. I thought it was something different.
Some people think I'm kinda cute
But that don't compute when it comes 2 Y-O-U.

I scrolled forward and it's on again this Friday at 10am.

It appears there are also Pop-up Videos of his following this but I can't be sure until I see them.

I'm pretty sure it's the same one that includes 7, Kiss, and either Cream or D&P.

When that show came on back in 1992 it was what set me on the quest to find the boots.
Awesome show for any new fan to see.

With the timing of this broadcast and the airing of "Purple rain" at the same time one can only speculate that there is a renewed interest in the legacy of Prince as a result of MJ's passing. At minimum, a desire to milk it (and other great artist) on the part of these networks.

Agreed. I think that they will embrace Prince now even more - a living legend with (seemingly) none of the problems that plagued MJ (self-image problems, drugs, children). Of course, Prince has his own problems!

MJ is certainly celebrated as an innovator, and everyone talks about how massive Thriller was, but Prince did all those things too. Some have said Prince was on MTV before MJ, and Prince was on the We Are The World album. And Purple Rain was the #1 album for 6 months! Not to mention the movie and tour . . .

I guess my point is that if you compare solo MJ and Prince (without the Jackson 5 legacy), Prince would probably be ahead.
