I have a really big collection of Prince Vinyl but I just wanted to see other peoples biggrin

Most of my 45's

early stuff:

1982-1984 (The cat is Chaka Khat : )) ...The upper left 12" is Vanity 6 "Drive Me Wild" - bought used and very cheap.

1984-85:

1985-87:

1987:

1987-89: (Cat is Macy)

Last one: (One of the 45's is The Time: Tricky)

What is that record next to the 12" of "I wish u heaven"? Is it a bootleg? What is the one below "Alphabet St"? One more, what is the one below "Cream"?

Prince can talk bad about WB's all he wants! If he didn't have a major label deal, none if this stuff would ever exsist. Despite the music industry and all it's flaws, the labels knew how to generate excitement and collectables. Did they know some of these were going to be collectors items? Some of the early radio promo edits were intended for one use only. That's why they were not for sale. These were better mixes (sound wise) than the regular album versions.
The major labels screw you in the end, but they seem to have a better machine.

wow these collections are so awesome..I have a few maybe like 10...they are in all mint condition as they were all only played one time for recording onto cassette..there are so many times I long to have a needle to hear the 23 minute version of America.....
