My wish is that I can afford a ticket and that I manage to get one before they sell out.

well-sometimes the live version of songs are way better than the released-like Fury-or even ol' school company which is good to begin with-but i liked the live version on Leno too-so MPLsound could make a superb set to get a crowd moving-though at a festival-it'll be hits hits hits-until he calls-

Montreaux-we done ran outta hits.....and he's gone biggrin

My wish list was that he was playing in Montreal rather than Montreux. I could actually go to Montreal.

do the same type of set list as the conga room and nokia room (3rd concert from that night) along with more cuts from lotusflow3r and mplsound and it's all good..leave that hit shit back where it belongs
man, he has such an amazing body of music that it's sad to see him constrict it down to the basics. he's too talented for the lineup he's doing. estelle 81

he should seriously consider adding a full version of "condition of the heart"
to the setlist.

especially since rumor has it that his new shows will focus mainly on his vox.

other stuff i would love to see him perform is a jazzy, spaced out version of
"when the lights go down" with long improv solo space for renato and rhonda.

a true to the album rendition of "under the cherry moon" drool

i think somewhat jazzed up version of "there is lonely" would floor me eek

let's pray the fantastic "and god created woman" gets dusted off for these
shows as well.

and "one nite alone" also deserves to be performed live, in full, as long as
prince is fine tuning his vocals to wow the crowds. i don't think he ever did
play it in full during the ona tour and it's such a good song.

beyond the slower songs i'd love to hear rocking, rolling, bouncing, bopping
all out freaked up jamming as they cover just about every inch of his more
obscure instrumental releases with:

four, six, eleven, 2 nigs united 4 west compton, xpedition, gamillah,
the sensual ever after, alexa de paris, sixteen, new power soul (95).

bow

oh and before i forget, that long, jazz version of "don't play me" that
the they did during one of the ona tour soundchecks in rotterdam.

omfg

and why not, throw in "prince and the band" the way he did it during
the xenophobia celebration. that inspired piano driven breeze.

i hope he'll go easy on the covers. something like 3 covers in an entire
show is not too much but i just wish he'd freshen them up and rotate the
covers once in a while instead of usually picking the same ones.

montreux would be a nice chance to play some great variations on classic
jazz tunes.

ok, i'm done wishing now lol

It would be real cool if PRINCE added in a MICHAEL JACKSON tune to play on each night of the JAZZ FESTIVAL.
I have a feeling that he will be performing a lot of what he did at the CLUB NOKIA show with only a few changes here and there. He will have the same band line up from this show (RENATO/BLACKWELL/SMITH)
