Prince is a great artist/musician without jumping and grinding or whatever

Very sad that so many people are stuck in the past and want him to do something that he already did. That is just Joy In Repetition. Prince is still incredible in many different levels now.

I am one who is stuck in the past, only because Prince was so brilliant back then,

Now he's just great wink

Shame about the JW thing.... the fan threats... the censorship of naughty words etc...

The dancing and sexual lyrics are really not what I expect from him these days, I appreciate the musicianship and have always prefered good music over good dancing and stage antics but it would be nice if he´d play different songs from his vast back catalogue.

Of course P is great now, but those of us that were around back in the day to witness the man jumping, dancing, and grinding just can't help feeling bad for those who didnt get to see this gorgeous hot sexy man do his thing! If you layed eyes on this sexy MF doing splits across the stage, pumping and bumping and teasing us w/ his perfect ass in those lace pants or g-strings then you would know why we long to see that image again!

Of course he would look ridiculous and creepy (actually) as a 50 year old man doing the bumping and grinding today, but it was a sight to behold back in the day! And, it is not that we can't move into the present, it is just a fond memory of a sexy hot man doing his thing in his prime. I think I speak for all when I say he still looks gorgeous and captivating now, but damn, this man was FINE beyond FINE back in the day and if you think you are a fan now, you don't know what you missed if you didnt get to see him live back in the day! It is an image that you cannot and do not want to erase from your mind.

People appreciate fine wine, fine art, ... those that were around to see P in his prime- strutting, dancing, grinding that perfect body around in complete sync w/ his music cannot help but appreciate and long for the visual and musical perfection that melded before us!

Prince is great but he doesn't compare to Michael Jackson or Stevie Wonder.

The only artist that could garner this type of press in demise would be Stevie.
His music is timeless and everyone young and old knows it plus his civil rights struggles.

Michael and Stevie Wonder were famous since they were 11 years old. Damn, stop comparing.
