I have always loved this song..... In fact we named our black Lab Orion.. She just went to Doggie Heaven a few weeks ago and we miss her SOOO much. I was finally able to listen to that song a few days ago for the first time since she died... and I cried..... I have always liked the song..... 
very pretty.. sorta in the same lines as "gave her Angels"

Very good song, but admit it... Sheena's vocal is WAY better than Prince's vocal.
If her voice is a 10, Prince's voice on this cut is a 5.75. Maybe that's the way he planned it, but she sounds beautiful, whereas Prince songs below average. Love the song though... and I agree with some of the earlier posts... Batman is a wonderful album that doesn't get the credit it deserves. It's one of the albums that I can listen to from start to finish, not stop, without skipping a thing, and singing along the whole time. [Edited 6/30/09 15:09pm] The public is squeezin' you kiddo. It was alright, not my favorite from either Prince or any other artist for that matter. I liked Scandalous a lot better. | |
