Nay, nay a thousand times nay. I love me some Prince ballads but just five seconds of this syrupy pap is enough to make a person diabetic.

That's kind of how I feel about Adore. lol

Nay.

The Arms Of Orion is THE weakest track on the Batman soundtrack. But I still like all of the other tracks.

it's alright for what it is. but it's obvious he was cashing in on some Linda Ronstadt & James Ingram "Somewhere Out There" Fievel bullshit.

Exactly! It sounds like every other crappy late '80s ballad.

I always liked this song. It may be because I was in love at the time and we'd sing it together, but there are much worse songs. Most of GB and Emancipation are far more boring.

Clever? Not a word I'd associated with the song.

Hear, hear, SUPRMAN - NAY!!!! It's not clever, it's very unusually klichee w/o tongue in cheek, which doesn't work for me. One of his LEAST clever or inspired songs ever. Sorry.

YAY!!!! To the B-side, though, how can anyone not see the vast difference in inspiration???? Now, that's a cool song!

So sad that you guys can't like anything romantic...

Bet you think love is for whimps too!

I think some of the problem is Sheena Easton is seen as a bit of a joke in the UK as she was 'discovered' on some cheesy British tv programme

In the US though she is seen as more of a sex kitten

IMO i skip it everytime confused

What else do you have a problem with?

Kittens?

Saying 'I love you..'?

Are they corny too? sad

Well maybe I'm just searching for a lover in the sea of tranquility.

Ah, at least the constellations never fail to light the way for love.

It might have been better received on a Sheena Easton album as opposed to a Prince album, but I don't hate it.

Definitely one of his weaker ballads, but still not completely bad. Between the two choices on the single, I prefer Orion over I Love U In Me.
