MJ, Prince mention by Chief Justice John Roberts Interesting story detailing how the Reagan WH was fawning over MJ, Roberts dissents mentioning both Prince and MJ in his letter.

He mentions Prince as a "newcomer". I find that funny since 1999 and Thriller came out in the same year (and Prince had 4 albums before 1999).
But based solely on years, yes he was new on the scene. | |

I think it is interesting. Of course the future justice would be thinking "precedent", lol..nice. I always thought Reagan's desire to link his image to MJ's and the statement about "hard work, determination" etc etc. was nauseating. Funnel drugs into the inner cities in the whole Iran-Contra dealings, demonize poor people and smile and laud Michael who came out of Gary and the "hope to keep working class"...lawd, such nastiness.
Meanwhile, as some truth-tellers are reminding folks these past couple of days, it took pleading, begging, and finally a power move just to get MJ's video on MTV at all in the first place. ********************************************
