Hello, a few questions about the CD single.
Is this a different version to the one that appears on the Gold and Beautiful Experience CDs?
Also is the b-side Beautiful a remix or a new song? Is it any good?

The cd single IS different to the album version. It's less produced and has less sound effects (the clicking tock, for example). However, it's a much better version IMO.
'The Beautiful Experience' version is just a (slightly) extended version of the same track.

As for 'Beautiful', it's a dance remix which also features (as a longer version) on the 'Experience'. Very good - a bit 90's sounding! - but well worth having. I love the clavinet (I think) which comes in towards the end.

The single release is different to the Gold experience version - but not that different. It doesn't have the ticking clock that you get on Gold and the arrangement is a little different. I prefer it.

The b- side if i remember correctly is an instrumental remix (kinda houseish)

There are vocals on 'Beautiful'; the backing track is just reworked (LOVE those 'whip'-type noises!).

There is a 12" version which is purely instrumental, though. 'Beautiful Beats', I think it's called.

Single version is WAYYY better the TGE version... I was really disappointed when I heard the album version ... way back when...

Got single for my 17th birthday as an American Import. Far better than all the other versions. He really got carried away with remixes on this one. Talk about flogging a dead horse..
