It's a feeling like he has unfisnished business to take care of first, He's mentioned a couple of times in different songs now, about saying something before he 'leaves' this town. Wonder what he has to say and what it's about

Saturday was the first time I played this song in a while and "Here" came up on Shuffle in my iPod the other day and I fell in love with it all over again. The beat from the start till the last note has me hooked! The lyrics are great, the music is sublime, it's a kickass Prince song. One of my favorite Prince songs of all time. I really love this song.

Another huge fan here. Best song of his that I've heard in years. Really captures his magic for me.

I really, really, really love this song. It's one of my faves off of MPLsOUND. I personally love the line "I just don't want you here, pretty baby, 'cause I'm scared I'll cry and love you like crazy." It might be cheesy to y'all, but I think it's beautiful and romantic in a tragic way. I listen to this song like every day, seriously. And I think all the "Liz" stuff is incorrect. To me, it sounds like
"The quickest way, baby, is you and me--sincere."
When I saw all this debate I put my ear buds in for my iPod and listened really closely. And it makes sense... he asks her to trust the ride and tells her that it will be quick if they're both sincere. I dunno. Just speculation. Guess only Prince knows. But THANK YOU Prince for yet another gorgeous song!!
