sundays prince birthday show - help please!!

could somebody help please who was listening (or running) the prince podcast that was happening sunday on his birthday...

there was a song near the beginning that was just pure musical happiness...and all i can use to describe it was that it went
'shalalala lala' in the chorus by prince..sounded like some kind of anime song.

does anybody know the name of the song?
sorry its so vague a description..but i have nothing else to go on.
Wouldn't you love to love me?

no (but i love that song razz ), sounded like the sort of madly joyous song youd get at the start of an anime...sounded almost like a live song or a bootleg- very old sounding.

Was it "La La La Means I Love You" Prince's cover version from Emancipation?
Just somewhere in the middle,
Not too good and not too bad.

As you've described it as joyous and pure musical happiness, and suited to anime (do all animes have joyuous sounding music though, surely some of them have darker soundtracks?) I'm wondering if it was something like Do Yourself A Favour (If You See Me) something really poppy and happy sounding. Did you mean Prince actually sings sha la la or just that is the closest approximation to a rhythm and sound you can put into words?

the closest thing I can think of, of that description, would be 'Cosmic Day'. But I doubt the full version was played as next to nobody has it, only the 1 minute clip.

It must be this (it's upbeat and fast although, perhaps more dark heavy funk than pop).

"Shaa-la la la la-laaa Souly-a-colia! Rebirth Of the Flesh is all over yer!"

Were those the words?

Walk Don't Walk with a similar "Sha-la la la-laaa" in the chorus/bridge is very pedestrian paced in comparison.

although an awesome track, it isnt rebirth...
there is a good chance that it may have been part of another work with prince involved (like 94 east for example - tho it isnt any of the 94 east songs)
