But My Name Is Prince was off that album, and the Peach single has that song as a b-side, and the 45 single says "taken from the album Love Symbol". That, IMO, makes the title Love Symbol at least semi-legit, considering that it is an officially released single by Warner Bros. Technically, you never mentioned that you were reading the B-side song from the single, or referring to "My Name Is Prince" specifically, in your original argument. It's clear now with TheDance posting the pic though. | |

No ? I think I clearly said so in my replies #8, 9 and 10. Look them up again, I also mentioned the catalogue number. I have this cd-single, but I never notised - or at least I don't remember about this - the credits about the album being called the "Love Symbol" album.

I felt KoolEaze wasn't clear and meant that "Peach" was from the album. I was trying to let him realize that it wasn't clear at first as to what he was referring to. I KNEW it had to be whatever the B_side was for the single he had in his possession. | |

Just for the record, WB never called the album "love symbol" either.
It's just an error made by the designer (that wasn't spotted before printing) and it only appeared on the European release of Peach. Oh, and here's the original title for the album... (before the 'name change' to " ")

Seems like the German division of WB didn't have a copy of the " "
symbol to use in their artwork and couldn't be bothered to put in the effort to get hold of one then! | |
