i don't know, but if he did it would be about alot of sex. But, my advice to Prince would be that i would tell him to be sure that any movie he made especially an autobiography would be safe from any foul play especially after his death. He doesn't have any children who would be able to keep the truth alive and stop any assholes from trying to depict Prince in a negative light as some of the ashs on this site do from time to time! But if Prince ever did make a movie of his live and he starred in it as himself then i'd want to star as all his women. smile smile i LOVE Prince !!!!! FOREVER AND ALWAYS!!!!!

I still hope there will be a movie about Prince - like the 1 about Ray Charles.. a documentary about Prince's life from 1978 to 20XX...

I haven't seen the movie about Ray C. though, but I think it got great reviews.....?

i don't know, but if he did it would be about alot of sex.

it will be about a lot of sex the same way Superbad was about a lot of sex, or more precisely about awkward guys that fantasize about a lot of sex.

Prince was all talk. the guy is shy and quiet. I'm shocked people still think that he indulged in such sexual promiscuity. his music was his sexual release.

Knowing Prince, I highly doubt he would allow that to happen, maybe after he passes on.

As long as he is living, a full-length, major studio feature film (like "Ray") probably not. Right now, he'd fight it tooth and nail, and though it's completely legal to make a bio pic of a public figure, no studio would want the hassle of fending off his lawsuits, even if they ended up being meritless.

Once he dies, I would imagine someone, somewhere will do a documentary and maybe a dedicated fan will produce some sort of small indie film. I'd also think that the idea WILL get kicked around major studios at that time.

My first reaction is that by that time, he will be a couple generations removed from his commerical zenith (not saying that is what makes him imporant, but big studios are all about money), and the devoted fanbase will be relatively small compared to his commercial heyday.

But, on the otherhand, it may not matter. A studio could run with it, the way they ran with "Ray", and a producer/director with clout who is dedicated to the project may push it through. If it is a quality film, I think people would see it.

I well done bio pic which covers his childhood thru different phases of his career would be what I would want. I have an idea for a great opening scene

It is 1968 Minneapolis, 10 year old poor, afro wearing little Prince- on the streets of Minneapolis, in a phone booth outside of a a McDonalds talking to his dad in tears as he pleads to move back in with him. (P described this in an interview back in 85').

The movie could then show his early years of developement with hours of time alone learning piano/guitar..moving to/from different residences.etc...and of course his friendship w/Cymone and how he hooked up w/Morris and the others...The over all theme of the film will be his relationship with his father and of course the music.
The sex thing would be there too, but it would reveal that p used sex more for his show/songs/and to control. He wasnt the nympho people thought he was.

Quote from Hahn's book: "When Prince reached age twelve,
he asked his father to take him back in. Nelson agreed, but the
reunion did not last. According to Smith(Prince's second cousin),
Nelson caught Prince in bed with a female friend and threw his son
out of the house as punishment".

But who really knows if this is the truth or not. Twelve seems a
little young, but then again, it's Prince we're talking here lol
