Dear Prince This letter is especially for you, even though others are privy to its contents.
Well, I just wanted to tell you how I feel about your latest release, LotusFlow3r. I really dig it immensely. Right now, as I'm typing this, I'm listening to 77 Beverly Park, and think the tune is really sexy. It makes me feel the way I want to feel when I'm with the one that I'm in love with. i appreciate your letter

That way, it's in your own handwriting, is more personal, and is more likely to be viewed and read by the Paisley Park staff. Fan letters are an age long tradition that seals a certain bond between the musician and his fans. Plus, when he ignores your letter, it'll be less embarrassing and public than what's going on here. | |

yep...'scuse me for back-stepping, but i think starfish & coffee also falls into the same vibe. when i picture prince recording 77 Beverly Park, I imagine him creating a tune for a latin film, maybe where lovers are about to have a drink in an outdoor cafe
