Rubberband Girl

Does anyone know if Prince wrote/co-wrote Rubberband Girl- Kate Bush. There was talk that he did at the time, but never took a credit for it. If he wasn't involved in the writing, i swear he must have produced it, even if secretly. The instrumentation is just too Prince for him not to have been involved

I think you must be getting confused with "Why Should I Love You", which
Prince did contribute too. He didn't have anything to do with Rubberband
Girl, and I don't remember hearing or reading any rumors that he had either.
(and I'm a Kate Bush fan, so I certainly would remember something like that).

I don't hear any Prince influence in Rubberband Girl at all. Sounds like pure
Kate to me. However, I remember thinking there was a Prince influence on
Big Stripey Lie (must be the drum machine), though, again, he didn't actually
have anything to do with that track either.

I remember reading in a magazine at the time that Prince wrote "Rubberband Girl", but I think it was just bad journalism.
