LINN'S COMMON CODA FUNKIER THAN ABE BAGODA

Snapped up the new COMMON cd.Pretty weird ,funky, freaky, cool shit. Not at all like your average hip hop album.More like COMMON was channeling some of Prince's boldness and daring and heightened sense of creativity.Very cool cd. The song Prince is credited as playing guitar and keys on is "star*69(ps with love).I dig this cut.And the coda tripped me out!!I first listened to this on headphones and when I started hearing the linn drum kick in funky as hell and that little freak Prince did I got a smile on my face. This was a totlly unexpected treat and I really want a full tape loop of that jam.It reminds me of the unexpected rhythmic treat at the end of "I Don't Wanna Leave You" on the What Time Is It? album. Not because it's similar ,but just because it come from left field and makes your ears sit up!!Very cool!

Also,I am absolutely in deep like with "d.m.s.r." from Small Club!!!I play it over nd over and over!!another thing that's got me is "Days of Wild" from the R U Experienced cd!!Oh and the "Controversy/Love Bazaar"jam from Funky Party 2Nite and and...gottago listen to some shit now!
