Nebula2020

At my second Lovesexy concert at the NEC Birmingham.

The video for Thieves came on the big screens before the concert started, they never played it at the concert the day before!

Hang on a minute.

Just checked his discography, Batman came out after Lovesexy.

What am I thinking about then. Pretty sure this happened. It did happen!

Anyone confirm? Dates etc.

confused

I was listening to this the other day and digging it of course. You really do have to admit that it's "When Doves Cry Part2". I can't say I mind though. I'd rather Prince play with his classic sounds and kick my ass with it than lay goose eggs playing snooze-jazz and stuff. Imagine if he hooked up a new song with the kick's processed like Thieves and Doves. Oh my God!

?? Not 'When Doves Cry.Pt.II.'
I don't want you to think like me. I just want you to think.

that seems very unlikely. perhaps you're thinking about the NUDE tour.
by the end of the nude tour i guess it's possible he already recorded
thieves in the temple. but i don't have a copy of "the vault" so i can't
check the dates to make sure.

lovesexy tour, i'd say is pretty much impossible.
and true love lives on lollipops and crisps

The drum souds are definitely a nod to Doves.
