From what I know, they do not. They are a privately owned and operated business - by a celebrity no less biggrin, and aren't exactly friendly to visitors - I think they tend to look at most as "fans". Plus I don't think the studios are rented out these days, so they really don't expect anyone.

You might find it best to visit when Prince is in town, if you have any way of finding that out, for the remote possiblity of a Paisley Park party. smile

As for places to stay? I'd suggest downtown Minneapolis, because the drive out to Chanhassen is a nice one. There are lots of live bands in the city, as well as The Quest (where Glam Slam used to be), and First Avenue.

Hope this helps you out!

The best thing to do is wait for a Friday nite party or the celebration.

I actually went to Paisley back in '96 and managed to walk around it... only because they were in the middle of remodelling it and they weren't quite sure who I was. If you are looking for a place to stay, there is a Motel 8 that is located on Flying Cloud Drive? (I think that that's the road) and it's about 5 minutes away from the Park. They won't let you much past the front doors though (if you even manage to get that far... from what I hear, the doors are secured and you have to be buzzed in now once you've announced who you are). But even if you don't get inside, there are tons of things to do in Minneapolis in relation to Prince. All you have to do is ask any store employee at any store and they'll tell you where this took place, where he was born, where he lived, etc and practically give you the exact addresses to boot. Make sure you watch from out your airplane window as you approach Minnesota... if you can see Prince's house (it's in the shape of his former name) and it's freakin' huge (that is if it's still there... that was back in '96 when I went). Good Luck, have a safe trip and take care...
