Last night I was browsing through my (digital) collection, and watched the 1.22 min Guitar video promo (It's part of a cell phone add?). For those who know, its the one on the Royal Visions 8 DVD.

Was a full video clip for Guitar ever released/aired?

No. It was never released as a full video clip - just this advert. Shame. It's a cool little video by the looks. This is the kind of thing that would be perfect to put on lotusflow3r.com (if you're listening, Prince )

I guess a full version of the video must be in the vault waiting to see daylight once....
It would have made the single a much bigger hit with a release of this clip.

it's too bad he doesn't have some sort of online outlet so that his fans can see all of these types of unreleased and aborted video projects that he's put on the shelf over the years. he could even charge money for it. something like $77 a year has a nice paisley ring to it.
