Back in the day I had a bootleg with Prince's song people without and his cover of Just my imagination on it. For the longest time I couldn't remember what else was on the disk. I fell in love with the meaning and the live music to People without and loved the way he covered Just my Imagination with a splash of rock. Well that was years ago and I had forgotten about People Without until I found this site and saw it mentioned in a few threads here. I have since found a copy of the Small Club live performance in excellent quality and have been enjoying it every since. As I listen to People Without a few of the lyrics stand out to me but the one that stands out the most to me is, "people without fuck without being in love." It's funny how Prince takes a few words and makes you go Hmmm.

I got to thinking about the great humor of the fine people here at Prince.org and thought of a game we could play. Hmm lets see....Name a few things that people without do or don't do. (Disclaimer) In know way am eye trying 2 b like Prince, write like Prince, sound like Prince smell like Prince or do anything that Prince would do. Just trying 2 have fun while I burn up the rest of my work day on some one else's dime.

Here's mine.....

1. People without Have every song that P has ever recorded, and know the names of the ones that havn't been and still say his music ain't shit.

2. People without log onto Prince.org daily only 2 make negative comments about Prince and his music.

3. People without got nerve to take pictures in weak ass ligerie (not even good shit), post them and then talk bad about P's attire and style.

4. People without actually care about negative things said about them on the Org.

Second, there isn't anyone on this site that logs on here DAILY to say negative things about Prince. Most of the people who say negative things about prince don't log on DAILY, and also have some good things to say too. So this statement does not fit anyone on this site.

Third, there have been threads with pictures of people in all types of clothing all over this site, some of them with things on that I like and some with things on that are not so easy on the eyes. If people have the courage to post pictures of themselves on the net they've got to have thick skin and not give a crap about what someone whom they may never meet may say. Hell, I don't even remember who the person was because there have been a few. My OPINION of what is not good shit, is my OPINION, just like most of the negative stuff written by others about Prince and his fans here on the Org.

I've been attacked and singled out in threads on this site just for asking questions or making a simple harmless statement. I've read threads where people are calling other people idiots and other names for asking questions. I was just having fun trying to get a rise out of the people who like to say negative things about Prince and his fans. I don't care what people say about me on this site but I do care about others, so if this was too warped for the org. I am sorry.

Judging others in a totally ignorant way sure is fun when you're in your 20s though...you go!

Some of us are with and some without. I get that. Who decides? Is it you? Wow!
