My choice is Crucial. I think that the short version of Crucial would have been a MONSTER hit had it been released around 1987. |

I have never understood the praise for 'crucial', and for 'pink cashmere' also, they are decent ballads, but missing that something 'extra' that Adore has.
I think melodywise, lyricwise, arrangementwise (that muted trumpet! that harp!) and vocalwise (those brilliantly layered backing vocals) Adore is far superior to these two songs. So, yes, Adore it is. | |
