We all know how quickly he becomes bored with CDs once they're finished. Always on to the next thing..

With nothing in sight, should we assume he's already done promoting the triple CD and content to move on to his next project.

Once he finished his Ellen appearance and sent out some T-shirts, he was done. He's still counting the $77 payments received though. Papa needs a new pair of shoes.

Must be holding out for more $$$ that aint coming from Live Nation for a tour.

it's obvious that he refuses to pay for exposure on tv or radio of his new
singles so they don't get any heavy rotation.

and if he doesn't feel like touring, well that's kind of the end of it, is
it not? and besides, he could do a world tour, i doubt it would sell a lot
of extra copies of LotusFlower. most of the people coming to the shows are
the folks who bought the album anyway.

the rest are people who will leave the show and buy one of his compilation
albums like ultimate or the very best off.

it would be nice if we would have some more info or graphics or insight in
the project through his website. his site is the perfect vehicle to give a
project like this a bit more depth.

wouldn't it be great if the whole lotus project simply became a portion of
the website where you could watch the live performances from tv. as well
as the tavis interview, some more artwork, a few tidbits about the process
of recording it. some in the studio pictures of some of the jamming with
sonny and michael etc.

make that a portion of the website and clear the prime space for whatever
new project is coming along.

imagine if he would have sections like that for EVERY album. that would be
worth the price of admission for me. just some pictures and anecdotes from
the man himself about the individual albums.

he is a free man now

he does not have to tour or promote a new release if he would rather just move on to the next project

i bet he loves that kind of freedom

sucks for us.....but then again, we should be happy for him

He is probably moving on to the next thing, I don't blame him tho.

It seems his life has become more public in recent years than

But maybe it's just that bad, that he's in pain more than he's not. I believe he probably is. I watch him now not for performance so much, but more to see if he grimaces in pain when he moves. Night 1 of Leno ("Ol' Skool Company"), he was in Flip Flops and didn't look so great to me. Kinda sickly for some reason. Night 2 and 3 he was doing much better. But I watched his face, keeping an eye out for a note of pain. He has to be suffering. But if he's too stubborn to get it fixed, that's on him.
