88' rave unto vers.?

What's up everyone ? is there a diffrence between the 88/89 version of rave unto the joyfantastic and the version from 99'. I've never heard the early version .

I've always liked the version on the rave album 99' but, there was a post a few weeks ago about the original rave album from 89'.got me thinking maybe i've missed something?

I know in the remix for "Batdance" in 1989, he mixed the song with "Rave..."

the original is basically just longer. might be some slight differences in the mix as well, but the original is not the best quality, so who can say.

It's the same recording.

There's a few minor differences in the mix, but essentially they sound
virtually the same.

I think their is magic in the Lovesexy aftershow Rave version
I comes in after a spectacular rendition of Just My Imagination

The "Small Club" rendition of Rave takes a huge loose dump on the studio version.

I don't know if at that time, that he had immediate ideas for this song
but it should have been released while the energy was and creative process was still high, maybe as a B side or something
