Because he's an incredible, multi-talented musician and performer. He puts on a great show, and he's just crazy enough to be interesting. Yeah, I think he's cute, but that's probably the last reason I like him. You can't see ass through your headphones, ladies.

That's a good question. I've spent a few moments here thinking about my reply. Yes, like the lot of you, I'd like to meet him personally but don't imagine any chemistry would occur. The least reason being that I am a foot taller than him and probably weigh twice as much as he does!

I've grown up with his music. I first remember I Wanna Be Your Lover. I was young, but knew what it meant and was just "coming into myself", blooming as they say.

The 1999/Purple Rain era occured when I was in high school. A time of raging hormones and lasting memories. This music just brings me back to those memories. I know, I know, "Don't live in the past". I'm not living there, but it's nice to visit once in a while.

Then the ATWIAD/Parade/SOTT/Lovesexy/Batman days were my wild crazy college days.

I could go on and on but there's no need for you to sit through my reminiscing/life story. His music just moves me in good, bad, indifferent ways. I love it!!

I dated a night club disc jockey for many years before I got married (not to him) and even though I know he was playing to the crowd I always felt (secretly) that he was playing just for me and it was a big turn on. Even though I am not musically inclined and couldn't play a note, music has always been a big part of my life and moves me deeply. Prince's music especially, not just because of the link to events in my life, but because I like his writing and performance of his songs. They too, "move me".

He's a spectacular writer, musician, and showman. He knows how to make people sit up and take notice.

And yes his charisma and good looks make it easy to be a fan too!
