Asswoop? Is this really a Prince track? Someone posted the name a while back in a thread about unreleased track and I'm listening to it now. It's kinda off-the-wall but also has an unnecessary cheese quota. Is this a Prince track?
Or is it Madhouse or something completely different? p.s. While I'm here what is Oobey-doop?

Moderator | "Asswoopin in a trunk" is a track off the "Never to be released album Madhouse 24"

Moderator | Probably the most energetic off the unreleased album. The rest of it is rather mellow. Still very good though. I just think this is the most jazz influenced track on it. The rest is more "smoothe-jazz" kinda vibe to it. All Rights Reserved. |

'Asswoop' recorded in 1993 featured Prince, Levi, Sonny, Michael B and Eric. originally titled 'Edward' according to Uptown, played occasionally live both in 1995 and 1998. ALT+PLS+RTN: Pure as a pane of ice. It's a gift.

watdiikhrap is keeping score. to answer your other question, "oobey doop" is an outtake from the "New Power Generation" max-single, sung by Elisa Fiorillo with background vocals by Prince.
