I have a friend who is a Stevie Wonder fan. They want a Prince CD from me. Recommend, to me, what Prince songs to put on this CD.

Just give em "Sign O' The Times". Or even the Hits-B sides.

How about trying the first two albums? They were very Stevie inspired IMO. Prince and WB were very much trying to cash-in on that 'sophisticated-soulful-one-man-singer-songwriter-multi-instrumentalist' mould that Stevie had more or less created.

what about songs from the 2 first Prince albums?

These sounds very much like Stevie Wonder....

01. I Wanna Be Your Lover,
02. Soft & Wet,
03. Just As Long As We're Together,
04. Bambi
05. I'm Yours

Maybe include some hits like:

06. Raspberry Beret (Extended),
07. Purple Rain,
08. Kiss (Extended),
09. When Doves Cry,
10. Little Red Corvette,
11. Sign O' The Times

and maybe a bit of the "new":

12. Black Sweat,
13. Musicology,
14. Future Baby Mama,
15. Dreamer,
16. U're Gonna C Me (MPLS version)
17. Ol' Skool Company
Prince 4Ever. heart
