Why are supposedly straight guys attracted to Prince? I've noticed this on tv (Jamie Foxx, Christopher Titus for example), the internet and with people I know.

They don't seem to be attracted to other men, just Prince. I've even talked to a couple of guys who have confessed to this "fetish" (they even bought Prince cds because of this) and they are not even attracted to black women, again it's just a Prince thing. I just find this curious and am wondering why (not that there's anything wrong with that, as they say on Seinfeld). I have posted this on another forum a while back and got a few responses. I'm hoping I'll get some more responses from straight and gay, men and women, here with the great amount of traffic on these boards.

yeah i feel that way, there is something about him but its impossible 2 explain, his height and his attitude and talent and his outfits but he isnt exactly a stud!

I think his talent makes him so attractive. I'm not sure how that works... but if he made crappy music he wouldn't be such a stud. When I was in high school I became friends with a girl and was not attracted to her what so ever. Then one evening I saw her perform with the choir and damn that girl could sing. I mean it's ridiculous how diva this chick really is. Ever since that night I've had a wierd attraction to her. I've known her for almost 10 years and I've talked to many many people who feel the same way...both men and women!!!

It just the music and the excitement around him. Of course he draws a lot of woman and I know guys who go to his concerts just to pick up girls.

O.K. so now I have to add my 2 cents to this topic. I know a couple of guys who were Totally Into Prince's Look. One mentioned how he loved his Clothes and wish he had the same ones, Another wanted to be Prince, Another told me he had posters all over his Bedroom and his brother called him a Fag. I don't know if any of these guys had Homosexual Tendancies at all I just know they loved his Music and thought he was Sexy with his clothes. But I once asked one guy if Prince was a Girl would he have Sex with Him and he said YES. So,I guess Prince is just an Attractive /Handsome Person and some of his fans would like to be INTIMATE with Him.

Laura,I would tell guys left and right I was there to see Prince and they would Try to Pick me up all the time. They would try to Tempt me like the Devil even try to get me Drunk so what you are saying is True. Guys , if I'm at a Prince concert I am dressed for Prince and to watch Him Perform on stage thanks for the Love ,but it's not Welcome.

One time this guy I know who was into Robert Plant said that although he wasn't Gay he would chain himself to Robert Plant and be his Slave and Blow him also. I do believe Straight Guys would Blow Prince if they were allowed to for 1 night. I've seen Guys push the Girls out of the way so they can be in the front while a tiny Girl can't see. So Rude.

Ok Im gay and have been 4 many years, but I'm NOT attracted 2 Price, and I dont think that if I saw someone who looked as feminine as him trying 2 hit on me, I'd probably ignore.

I have loved Prince every since Dirty Mind came out, I grew my hair like his, dressed like him, Had his posters all over my walls, Wore I love Prince Buttons etc... We had this group of Guys that loved Prince. (6 or 7 of us) And we would have parties and play nothing but Prince or Prince inspirted music (Time, Vanity 6, Andre Cymone) And if someone would say play something else besides that Prince Stuff, we would mob him, Throw him out of the party, and if anyone said anything negative about prince, like he's a fag, we would mob them, (unless it was a fine woman) We would just tell her that we liked prince because he taught us to appreciate beautiful women and she fits the discription.(lol) Now we were thugs but we were not Krazy.
That was 1982, and now 20 years later all of us still love Prince, all have families, children, fine wives, drives nice cars, and none of us are Gay. But it is something about Prince that brought the best out of us. Prince looks girly but we know he is no fag, He is just free. And I think that is what we fell in love with.

I'm a straight male and I think Prince is an attractive and sexy man, and probably the best-dressed man on earth. If I was a woman, I'd want a piece of him...
