I’ve never done this with a Prince album before but this past weekend, I sat and played (keyboards) along with the MPLSOUND CD. While I still skipped past the first two songs (sorry ya’ll), I did gain a whole new respect for the artistry of the remainder of the cd. The ballads were wonderful to play. Valentina and No More Candy 4 U were plain fun. I’m sure someone else has done this already and I’m interested in knowing if it altered your opinion about the work in one way or another.

I can't imagine doing that with MPLS or Lotus, but back in the day, I'd put my boom box on the piano and play along with "Purple Rain", "Raspberry Beret", "Condition of the Heart", "Paisley Park", and most of the Parade album. I'd get lost in "Purple Rain", playing along. It was like being in the rapture.
