Something about P’s expression in the new pics reminded me of when I fell in love with P and his music when I was a teen. During this obsessive period he seemed somewhat god-like to me, as it was the peak of his early career around 86/7 and he just seemed superhuman…*

I don't think I've ever perceived him that way. But he creates divine music. He's a human, but the music he makes is something special. His talent seems to be supernatural. But there are many creative and taleted people whose gift isn't recognized becuase they're not in the show business, they are not famous, but they are artists at what they do. Still, they're not perfect. What they create is/might be.

i would never say that Prince was God like for me...it was more like a relation..i have allways related to what he's said..or understood some of the things he's done..his lyrics to majority of his music, his visions, his style..i have allways related to..god like..no..but i'm glad that he's somewhere here on earth

Yeah, I'll cop to that one. There was a time where I thought he could do no wrong. But it's understandable. I mean, for a long time he certainly DID no wrong musically.

I never had posters everywhere but I did have two live white doves and had black lace draped around their cage. Those were the most gentle and tame doves. I had them for years until I just finally got sick of cleaning their cage. Those things could shit some stacks. I never realized how attached I had become to them until I took them and gave them to the Animal Rescue League, cage and all. I was so scared they would put them to sleep that I went back for them. Someone had adopted them already and was very excited about getting them so I was happy for them.

I remember him saying one of them was named Divinity but I can't remember the other one's name. My doves' names were Ike and Tina. I kept hoping to see an egg in the cage but that never happened. The male was constantly behind the other dove going up and down and coo-ing. He even jumped on the other dove's back a few times. I thought she just wasn't interested. I read somewhere about determining their sex by the way their feet look or something. I can't remember but I do remember looking and finding out I had two males.

The funny thing is, one of the birds was constantly trying to get sex from the other bird and the other one would fight him off. I guess he thought he was in prison or something and about to get raped. Ain't that something? A gay dove! Well hell, look who the owner was.

What cracks me up is when I think of what the other dove was thinking while all this was going on. I'm talking about the dove that was always getting jumped on from behind. One day I actually thought they were going to fight up in that cage. And all he could do was take it and try squirm his way to the other side of the cage. But he couldn't go nowhere because he was trapped in that damn cage. It must have been like prison to him. And the bird that was jumping on his back was just as happy as he could be.

Did you ever see the movie "Trading Places". At the end when they dressed that guy in a gorilla suit and put him in a cage with a real gorilla. The look in his eyes when that gorilla stuck it up his ass, is the same look that bird used to get when the other bird was coo-ing up behind him. He looked just like this.....
