I think it fits the whole light-hearted theme of the movie/song perfectly well and it's very cute, combined with the way he delivers the lyrics.

I can pick something good that appeals to me from every lyrics he has ever written, but I'm not so fond of his changing some of the older lyrics and stuff like that (The Christ anyone? Or not performing certain songs because he doesn't allow himself to do so anymore?), but overall I can identify a lot with what he writes, even if it wasn't mean the exact same way originally, so I'd call him a good poet for my part.

I've said it before: the absolute lowpoint is the rape-lyric in Xtraloveable. Musically the song is great but the lyrics spoil it. NOT FUNNY, P!

Don't worry, this has nothing to do with anything near "tolerating" rape. It's just a dark, desperate message saying "I want your body NOW" in a Princely kind of way. He wants her so much he would even commit a crime just to have her - the word "rape" was just used to make it even more clear. I don't think he wanted to underline the act of a rape, but rather his insatiability.

Worst lyrics: Arms of Orion. Contrived around astronomical nonsense, "sea of tranquility" and it sounds very dry and run of the mill. The opposite of wit, daring and inspired lyrics.
