i think 1999 is Prnce best album!!! as much as i love the lovesexy era i have to say 1999 was the album,think about it Automatic,Little Red Corvette,1999,Free,Delirious,International Lover.i could possibly say this album is better than Purple Rain.if purple rain didn't have When Doves Cry...thats my opion. | |

I totally agree with u. Not a bad song on that album.Prince at his best as a one man band...It had hot ballads,Funk,and rock.  will ALWAYS think of  like a "ACT OF GOD"! N another realm. mean of all people who might of been aliens or angels.if found out that wasn't of this earth, would not have been that surprised. R.I.P. |

definately his most influential.it paved the way for modern dance music.it has early forms of techno,drum and base,house and trance.not to mention lil red corvette is the best pop song ever | |

I defitnitely don't think anyone can ever do better than 1999. This album was a great example of perfection. I wish Prince could get in the same frame of mind he was in when he created this masterpiece, although I do accept times have changed and so has he. Defitnitely underated. | |
