My guess is that Internet terrorists shut them down. Maybe some have noticed the fanatics who spend their lives posting on this site. The ones i'm thinking of act as if they have all of the answers, are very opinionated and are always "right". After i posted on a touchy subject a while ago here on the Org, i received a virus in correspondence. It ultimately shut my whole system down. With the number of complaints being directed at the NPGMC maybe one of these same cowards found a way to plant a bug in that site and with so much going on this week they've been too busy to have it repaired. Prince is just finishing up the Vegas after party so maybe the site will be back up this week.

"E-mail Usage in 2002: One Virus Every 3 Seconds Message Labs, responsible for the e-mail security of companies like Fujitsu, Bank of New York and the British government, says 2002 saw a rise in e-mails containing virus. The company found 1 virus every 3 seconds - one virus in every 212 e-mails. Besides a higher virus-to-email ratio, spam and scams have risen as well. MessageLabs says more spam messages than genuine messages will be sent next year. The "get-rich-quick" scams are also a big problem: this "market" may reach 2 billion in 2003. MessageLabs mentioned the "FriendGreeting" scam, which works through an applet that leads users to download a mass-mailing program without their knowledge. MessageLabs alone found 70,000 copies of the scam program in 2002." don't feel so privileged. now on the subject of hacking, why has the org been down so much lately? HMMM. sheep.

now on the subject of hacking, why has the org been down so much lately? HMMM. sheep. thanks Tom, i certainly don't feel privileged. The virus disabled my ability to access Prince.org and it spread from there. i don't usually open mail from strangers but i admit i was naive in opening mail from someone here on the org who chose not to dialogue with me on the open thread.
