Maybe its just me but i never understand the excitement over being at a taping just to see him play 1 song.

Live or not it doesn't seem to be worth the hassle half the time.

I hear u on that one! I once stood in line for the Vibe Show performance, which turned out to be the last one. We were first in line standing for hours only to be turned away cuz all the V.I.P.'s took all the seats. But as we were leaving we passed Prince's bus and caught him and Mayte coming out. They gave us a wave so it kinda made up for the hours of waiting.

Maybe the "trouble" was that people who were offered free tix for tonights taping were being turned away cause all the celebs were being let in instead? Just a thought.

Oh and Dr. Funkenberry represents a group of people that are in the know of the Prince circle amongst other celebs. I comend them for bringing the news to us, even though some don't appreciate it. Tsk tsk tsk, so much negativity
