Strange since it was immediately my favorite of the 3 albums. But got less enjoyable after the 3rd listening, and with repeated listenings the weaker tracks drag down the rest of the CD.

On the flipside, lotusflow3r was pretty decent but didn't blow me away at first, but kept getting more and more enjoyable with repeated listenings.

I agree w/ Imago.

To the point that I don't listen to MPLSound anymore...yet, Lotus Flow3r is stuck inside my cd player. The sonic cascade of '4ever', to 'Colonised Mind', to 'Feel Better, Feel Good, Feel Wonderful' is about as it gets. Follwed up by '$', 'Dreamer', and 'Back 2 the Lotus'. I'm digging the modern Prince as much or moreso than the 'classic' Prince.

It truly is such a strong album, it's not easy doing this... The only song I don't prefer is "(There'll Never B) Another Like Me", which I've edited down 2 a nice instrumental. If that song were shorter, and used the chorus MUCH less, and "Dance 4 Me" and "Hey Valentina" were longer, it would be perfect.
