Annie Lennox is far too head strong to become a "Prince Girl" lol
Fuck the funk - it's time to ditch the worn-out Vegas horns fills, pick up the geee-tar and finally ROCK THE MUTHA-FUCKER!! He hinted at this on Chaos, now it's time to step up and fully DELIVER!!

Don't quite see them pulling it off. Too different personalities.

She's talked about him quite a bit and would love to work with him.

I think they have much more in common than seems immediately apparent.

Why do people have to have the same personality to do a duet together?

Well, and people talking about their incompatibility...

they're both 80's icons who blurred the lines of male/female and black/white and are still very successful today.

Very good points. I think Prince would check himself around someone like Annie, and just let the music happen. There's tiny nuggets of evidence of that when you hear "non-Prince" songs like "I Love U But I Don't Trust U Anymore" with Ani Defranco.

We're all wishing on a star for this one, but it'd be nice for his project next year, which he'll forget about 2 months after. lol

(As a weird Prince tie-in, Dave Stewart worked with Candy Dulfer in the 90's.)

Annie could actually pull off a Prince-songbook album and make it all her own.

Neither one of them are all that good at compromise. Unless by some miracle they both set their egos aside I can't see a proper collaboration working. Though if that miracle does occur, the outcome could be beautiful.

In an interview Annie said she preferred artist that made their own music and wrote their own lyrics as she does,so it`s a good chance this might happen in the future.

That'd be the kind of duet so good everyone else would just have to stop making music after that, because they couldn't compete.
