I saw the entire thing. the girl was dancing in the back and he turned went to her and started dancing with her. I think the thing might have been staged, he loves to get laughs onstage.  | |

Oh God, that scene cracks me up every time I watch it, it is SO funny! The way she dances...and then goes up to shake everything in Prince's face. Yeah, didn't he say she used to write to him, and he wrote back to her, it was in the very early days, and then she starting turning up at his house, crying to get in and stuff. I'm sure it was something like he told her he couldn't come to the door because he didn't have any clothes on, and she said "I don't mind!" which freaked him out, apparently (hardly Jimi Hendrix then.... ) Anyway, ever since he said he kept 'fans' or 'fanatics' at arms length. It's in a book or interview somewhere. Oh, maybe it was Tavis Smiley around '98?Never heard that b4...still Prince is a recluse. Eye wonder if Prince still gets lingerie in the mail. | |

People get paid very well to make sure nobody gets to close to him, looks at him, or takes unauthorized pictures of him. They carry his umbrellas and open doors for him, trust me. that broad on that picture was not gonna hurt Prince and I still say it was staged. I wish I could find that picture of the fat girl that jumped on him in Philly, he was running across the stage and jumped on the piano. Somebody from philly has it! [Edited 5/29/09 15:19pm] | |
