Same thing with the respective tours. Of the pre-1987 stuff, the Dirty Mind shows are probably my favorites. Even though it wasn't a song from that album, I love performances like Why You Wanna Treat Me So Bad where he'd start a killer guitar solo at the end with: "Bitch!". Everything about that album and tour was totally raw and fresh. I think the album is ok. I like it better than his other two, but I do prefer Purple Rain a great deal more. | |
