It would be like a "lively" ending for Jay's show and Mr. Hayes would probably be donning his "church lady hat" and the backup singers waving their "church fans. Okay, thanks for you input Piccolo7, but like I said to mzqueen, everyone here knows "it is up to Prince" which song he chooses to perform, after all, he is his own boss when it comes to his music, that is without question, but the question for this thread is " What song choice, (your favorite from the new album) would "you" like to hear him perform? Okay, so far it looks like...
Here Boom Dance4me ...seem to be the favorites. We shall see. Like some of you said, maybe Prince will ask Jay what song he would like for him to play. I do agree he should start off with a ballad, then go into something upbeat to round it out for Jay's last show in that time slot. It will be interesting to see. Anyway, keep posting what you think he may play and thanks for the replies! | |

Probably something from lotusflow3r.
Now that he's too old to do high energy dance moves to his funky dance songs, I think he works best as a live performer when he's ripping a guitar apart or banging away on a piano. Seeing him give some extra 'oomph' to Colonized mind the way he did "Fury" on SNL a few years back would do the trick for me. | |
