I'm surprised no one has mentioned "God" -- as beautiful as it gets, that's one I've always been a little spooked by. Maybe because it is so "authentic," in feeling at least. As a kid, I was also freaked out by the end of "Do Me Baby;" that side of Controversy just ended on a baaad note!

I know you may be going ??? I was in my car in the parking lot of a store. I just received a gift (music)... from a guy... Excitedly, I put the CD on and I hear this voice "The message you're about to hear's not meant for transmission,"...OK, I say to myself "Should only be accessed in the privacy of your mind"...cool "The words are intense so my dear if you dare to listen" "Take off your clothes, meet me between the lines"

I never even thought that it would be possible to be "scared" by a song until I heard "There's Others Here With Us". I can't even listen to the whole song without the hairs on the back of my neck standing on end.
No other song has ever had that effect on me. Would make an excellent Halloween anthem! By St. Boogar and all the saints at the backside door of Purgatory! | |

I would probably go with "Let's Go Crazy", but not in the way that I wouldn't wanna listen to it. I still dance to it whenever I hear that song. Hmmm...how can I explain?...well, since I used to think that Prince was God when I was a lil' one, this was one of those songs that I thoought was an apocalyptic message from God, er, I mean Prince. The production, too, I think is so big that it's scary, yet exhilarating. It's kinda like a rollercoaster ride. The altitude can be very frightening, yet you love every second of it.
