This is a poem I wrote a while back...I posted it about a year ago.

NPG Baseball

One Sunday, the band came out to play
A light rain didn’t matter that day
A player strolled up to bat
As the drummer started the high hat
The ball left the pitcher’s hand
A bass was added to the band
As player two smacked it far
Along came with it, the rhythm guitar
The next 4 balls the catcher caught
The singer sang, “It’s about that walk.”
The catcher drew his mitt and spit
The pitcher threw the final lyric
The loud crowd just wouldn’t quit
Guesss ya know, the band got a hit!
