Just heard prince - good man! What a catchy song! My pc says written for M.c flash? anyone know if that is true?
Anyone know the era, it kinda sounds camille esque, without the high voice. It is also reminds of a few mj tracks, especially the harmonies. I love downloading prince outakes, there are so many and you just discover some new ones that you've never heard. It's from July 89 and was indeed written for the Margie Cox album although the lead vocal was going to sung by Billy Frenze the guitarist from Dr. Mambo's Combo. Some people are like Slinkies...
They're good for nothing but they still bring a smile to your face when you push them down the stairs. | |

There's two circulating versions of this song, one with Prince singing lead and one with Billy Franze singing lead. I have both |
