We all need to lighten up. Sometimes things take a while through the mail. Sometimes things get lost. Aren't there more important things going on the world you could be worried about than a goddamn civil suit against npgmc? Everybody is going to get their cd's, better late than never. My experience with customer service at gage has been ok, I find if you treat them with respect they treat you with respect - after all, it's a tough job dealing with complaints on a daily basis. If you don't like the club, don't join next year. Personally I know a lot of people who enjoyed the club this year (the soundchecks, the tour, the box set) and will rejoin. It's time we heard from you. (that is, if you're still on this cesspool of negativity called prince.org)

I'm not an NPGMC member, so I can only imagine the frustration many have felt, but that aside it'd be nice 2 see some POSITIVE posts more often.

If the bitching is justified(I'm not a member so I don't know) let them say what they will...if not... already!!!

its justified in a sense, but they are all going over the top with their bbb complaints and breach of contract courtcases!

It's their right 2 express their anger, but pls, 4 the sake of the others here at the Org, try 2 reduce the number of posts with titles like "Who Else Is Pissed With Prince?" or "Are U Mad At The NPGMC 2?", etc.

Noone is filing a lawsuit (to the best of my knowledge). People filed complaints to BBB for them to review and attempt to resolve, since some were not getting any replies from NPGMC to their concerns.

Some orgers with backrounds in law got into discussions on the legal aspects of the club. They were discussing laws, not threatening lawsuits against NPGMC.

I see the npgmc as a work in progress, where mistakes, but also improvements are made.
As for the cost, I'm not even sure it's possible to break even with the $ 100 fee, considering all the work (= labourcosts) and shipping costs involved.

I think members have a right to state their case, if they feel they've been treated unjustly or mislead...but only as long as they base it on facts and attempt to do it constructively rather than complain to hear themselves complain.
More importantly, they should write the npgmc with their complaints, but i don't know how far that will get them--which can be equally frustrating.

Hey, the way i see it(and i've used this analogy before) i go to a restaurant, the service is ok, the food sucks, and it's not what i thought i ordered, i don't go back.
I have a right to complain, but in reality, how far is that really going to get me? Are they going to fire their entire waitstaff? Fire the chef? Change their entire menu?
Not anytime soon, not very likely.
Prince's restaurant is a two star, expensive dinner with a good floor show. That's about it.

The club issue is a smaller scale, but then again, so are our reactions. All we did was post some remarks on one bulletin board and write emails to BBB and NPGMC. We arent going on talk shows, making music videos, 30 minute specials, newspaper articles, magazine interviews, and other stuff. There are outlets for consumers to voice their concerns in this country, and whether or not everyone agrees with out opinions, we do have a right to use them. I think the overview of what the "complainers" have done so far is becoming very exaggerated. We wrote a couple emails, and posted on here. Thats it.

How Depressing!! The best thing about the Org is the moaning. Prince ought to sample us for a remake of Do Me, Baby.

Instead of the "I'm so Cold", we could have Orgers moaning, "I haven't got my disc" or "I didn't get value for money"
