I realize that through NPG Music Club there were an assortment of Prince Merchandise available 4 sale. T-shirts, Candles, Pendants, Incense...etc.

From the concerts I have attended, I don't remember much merchandise other than T-shirts and tour books.

Everone knows the feeling of..."If I buy a T-shirt, I won't have enough money 4 drinks or something else," so our minds choose how we are going to spend our money.

I cannot tell you how many times I would have loved to bring something home from a concert and couldn't.

I've been doing some sand art lately, and this morning I decided to do a Prince Symbol with black and white sand, splitting the symbol down the middle with the white to the left and the black to the right...When I finish, the background will either be the reversed black and white, or I will do the background all purple for this picture.

It occurred to me that this dezyn would make an adorable deck of cards...The hearts and diamonds could be red. The spades and clubs could be purple, and the Joker's could be Prince as the Partyman. I thought who wouldn't pick up these cards for $5 bucks at a Prince concert. It even crossed my mind to have a couple of girls carrying them like "Cigar Girls."

The little things we could buy in addition to a T-shirt or a Program could make a difference to the fan....

Any ideas of things under $10 dollars you would be willing to buy at a concert?

other than that, you can never go wrong with coffee mugs. and i'm not just saying that because i collect coffee mugs with designs of my favorite musical artists.

I just bought an NPG condom holder on ebay so i could do with something to put in it!!

Can anyone remember the names of the condoms that were sold in the NPG Stores?

No, I think those ones came a little later. If I remember correctly there were 2 or 3 different ones probably flavoured and named after Prince songs. I'm sure one of them was called Horny Pony but I could be mistaken.

I finished the Sand picture and I did it in just Black and White...Prince may have split the Symbol down the middle before, if so I don't recall that specifically, if so...is there a picture of it?

I can clearly see Prince in Black and White, with a Checkered black and white background...yet I don't ever remember the sybol two different colorz...

If I'm right, they must be getting slow in the advertising dept. Maybe they need somebody way up there?
