I just heard the guys on Peach & Black podcast talking about mixing Chocolate Box and Disco Jellyfish together to make a super long version of the song.
So I did it and it sounds pretty cool!

Anyone else tried it? What d'you think?

I actually edit the End Time in iTunes for "Chocolate Box". There's about 90 seconds of "this is too long"ness at the end. I also changed the End Time for "Never B Another". As a slightly shorter song(s), they both work a lot better. They don't drag on that way.

However, if there were some different production in the song, it might be a decent 12". But Prince has lost interest in the project, so it doesn't matter.

Maybe with a longer instrumental part rather than repeating 'I've got a box of chocolates that'll rock the socks of heh, heh, heh, heh' would have been better, but he goes back to that a couple too many times IMHO.

I guess it'd come in handy if some 'fam' needed a birth coach or something, though. Just have them play it over and over, push and breath along with it until their little purple paisley baby comes.

Maybe someone could do a mash-up 'Push' and 'Chocolate Box' just for such an occasion?
