Does ONA Live play in your computer?? I think this may be blocked for computer use. Any way around this? I use Musicmatch, I'm not trying to copy it just play it.
My quick review is that I like it, and I was at the NYC aftershow so it's cool to have it now on cd, it's not my "dream" Prince live album, but it's cool. The packaging is great and I think anyone who is complaining about the price will not complain when they see the booklet inside and the great packaging of the box. ______________________________________________

If you mean that the last one or two tracks of each CD skip when you play it on your computer, then that's standard practice these days. Most new CD's are manufactured with this kind of copy protection. My Vespertine (Bjork) and Sea Change (Beck) CD's are both like this, but I was actually able to rip the songs off of the CD's with a program called "dBpowerAMP Music Converter" which is a free download. Look it up and give it a try.

Most CD's these days are copy protected but there are more than enough audio rip software packages that can rip these CD's without any trouble whatsoever. I sincerely want 2 fuck the taste out of your mouth

stethhtets-
I agree. For some reason, iTunes seems to work with EVERY CD I throw at it perfectly, regardless of copy-protection or multi-media content. I use Toast Titanium to copy CD's, but iTunes to rip them into MP3's.

i'll be paying close attention to this thread. if it doesn't play, or allow all of the songs to be ripped from the cds, then i won't be buying it.
i don't listen to my home stereo anymore. the only real time i listen to music anymore is on my ipod... or maybe i'll just buy a mac. or buy the 3cd set, and then download it from a friend that has a mac.

I burn cd's all the time and play them as well. Some record labels like Atlantic (Craig David, the Donnas, etc) portect all their new releases, and I'm sure Prince does this as well. It just stinks because it's so much easier to play it on my PC. I've got it hooked up to my stereo and it sounds great. All that software for playing cd's on the PC out there scares me a little to download since record companies probably put viruses out there as well. ______________________________________________

It plays on my rewritable drive but not the dvd bay that periodically plays cds. Matter of fact Anna Stesia is getting into high gear now. Ok but to answer the question yes it plays. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

I've not had any problems playing all discs from ONA Live on my PC with Windows Media Player. I even made a backup onto CDRs and they work fine too.

Ha ha!! my Star wars episode 2 soundtrack wouldn't allegedly play in my computer but i solved that with a non-permanant black marker pen.I just went round the edge of the disc and it worked fine.
you never know it might work on ONA?

I listened to the whole thing in Musicmatch tonight. Isn't it a pain in the arse how it puts breaks between the tracks though? I know u people worthless scum give no heart but wrath of insults a brain-driven wave of destruction your bite is worse than your vocabulary. Shame on you all of you. Go feed your pigs coward.
