Is Prince a helpless romantic or just a seducer of women?

In songs like Dreamin of U we hear the poetic side of Prince being a helpess romantic.

But it is shortly followed by a song of how he wants to kick it joint to joint while caressing her "nappy hair". I am wondering if Prince is really as romantic as he is cracked up to be.

I would like to go on a date with him to find this out for myself. I really enjoy his songs like "LoverMotherSisterFriendWife," those really hit my spot. I really enjoy his passion for women. I think hes really sexy but look at what happened to Mani and Mayte....2 BEAUTIFUL women and it didnt work out. Maybe the romance just soured. I wonder if he talks real slick to get what he wants. I love Prince and it makes me wonder these things sometimes. What do you all think?

Prince used to be a world class romantic/free spirit.

Now he's an aging womanizer counting his money.

He's both, depending if he wants to conquer, or love.

I think he is a little of both.

in reality i think he acts like a normal celebrity male who was not lucky with women in his teenage years but in songs he acts more human

i agree with nurseV...as i think about his interview with tavis, he stated that the romanticism in Sade's music was missing in today's music and suggested that Bria try and capture something "different" yet something we're not hearing..i.e Sade's music/romanticism. It is obvious that is what Prince likes which confirms he is "romantic" imo.
