I am a Batman nerd to the fullest (got into Prince because of Batman) and all I can say is that you are wrong. Claiming Michael Keaton is "the only true Batman" is as laughable as some claiming that Adam West is the only true Batman. Keaton was great as The Dark Knight, but he left much to be desired as Bruce Wayne. He was a bit too old for that stage of Batman's career, too brooding (Bruce is supposed to be a shallow playboy), and Keaton was too balding for my taste. Christian Bale is the perfect Batman/Bruce Wayne. The proof is in the pudding, The Dark Knight and Batman Begins have replaced 1989's Batman as the the definitive Batman films. Look at the reviews, the awards, and the box office. Don't get me wrong, I still love Burton's Batman,(especially the soundtrack) but Michael Keaton is NOT the "only true Batman". You are so asking for a flame war.  | |

Batman he is not-that forever belongs to Michael Keaton and Prince I don't think Keaton was a great Batman, but he far out shined Kilmer, and definitely Clooney. I like Bale as Batman.
