After skipping this track alot in the many car rides im in day to day, I thought id give it a play again after along time.

I have to say I think its a really good track, call me watever but I think its sexy, not just coz of the lady's orgasm but the guitar bit at the start of the track is pritty cool and it just works as little sexy track.

I think its been underrated just coz ppl dnt wana talk about it coz of what it is.

Anyone agree with me or am I on my own? lol!

Story goes that Denise was going through some kidney issues and financial hardships because of treatment. Prince put her voice on that track because it offered her a bit of a royalty check for being a performer on the album. It was just credited to "She Knows", and not her name. It is indeed from the outtake "Vibrator". Seems like it's somewhere else though too. Isn't it sampled on "4" by Madhouse, as well as other places?

Oddly, Prince and Denise allegedly had a meeting a few years later, and it turned sour. He wrote "Dinner with Delores" about her, as a kiss off.

I think whatever went down, turned ugly. I almost feel like the "sin" and "cheeks to turn" references are religious references, at her being born-again and living a different life from Prince at the time.

So I do not know the details of the meeting, I just heard that it went down badly. Odd time frame. COME, with her voice was 1993, and by 1996, he had written her off for good. Oh well.

It's an odd track in the scope of that album, but decent. I got the promo CD from a DJ friend, Carly Rush, who hated the song and wasn't going to put it on the air. She said, "Who says brontosaurus in a song???" haha I had to agree. Still nice though.
