If Prince can't be bothered to celebrate his own birthday, why should I make a fuss on his behalf?

Well, I'll keep Prince in my spirit, but my best friend's daughter's birthday is also June 7 so I'll try to give all my B-day wishes and gifts to her and play alittle Diamonds & Pearls on the side

I'm sure when the date comes around I won't even remember it's the date of Prince's birth

Crikey... I can't believe it's nearly a year since I celebrated his 50th!!

That was the boat party in London, where I met my lovely friend Ruth, who's no longer here on earth... I had a dream about her the other night though, it was like she sent me a beautiful message and she seems to be very happy and at peace...

Talking of boat parties.... well wrong thread...!

I will be by celebrating the fact that I did NOT support his worthless new venture of a website!

My fav. galpal and I are going to go out and have a couple of Purple Rains in his honor.

I normally celebrate by having my own Prince party.I dress 4 the occasion,(Prince tee and symbol jewelry,moon ear wrapz,) bake r buy a cake with purple frosting(with HAPPY BIRTHDAY PRINCE on it) and spend the entire day listening 2 his music and watching my collection of Prince dvdz/bootz. My birthday'z in June,az well,and 1 year I celebrated my b~day with Princez'. My cake was copied from the Controversy album cover,and all my giftz were Prince inspired!

well since my birthday is the 11th, I'll be continuing the ongoing Prince-fest that has been going on for the past month or so. I'll probably teach my 7 year old son (the future "Prince" **crosses fingers**) a few new songs on the piano (I asked him who he wanted to be for Halloween, he said Prince, and I almost fainted. lol). We may have some cupcakes, and watch SOTT, UTCM, Graffiti Bridge, Musicology and the COBO Arena concert.

i will listen many times at my favourite albums of his like dirty mind,batman, the black album,love sexy, for you, e.t.c. and pray that he will be that creative in the future too!! then if i am in athens i will go to the hard rock cafe where the purple rain jacket is and discuss with my friends all night long about him!!
